"I met Ellen Reid at a Dan Poynter seminar in April 2001.
I was a small-church pastor with a nice, little, self-published
Christmas stories book that nobody except family and friends
knew about. Now, six months later, I'm a full-time writer/publisher/speaker
with three great-looking books that everybody's hearing and
talking about. I've been written up by Writer's Digest in
their magazine, Publishing Success, in the 'Advice from the
Pro's' section. Much of my transformation and success came
about because of Ellen, who helped me revision myself and
then stretch to make things happen. Ellen has been not only
my projects director, marketing manager, and utility infielder;
she's also been the coach, cheerleader, occasional pinch-hitter,
and so many other things."

Dear
Ellen,
I just received notice from Biblio that they sold $2,600
worth of my book through the book stores in the very first
month that they had my book. This was indeed a pleasant surprise,
especially since this is my first book, and these book store
sales were all to "strangers".
My coaching practice has also taken off, and I am getting
speaking engagements across the country. I am also initiating
my first round of " small groups", and I am receiving
a $2500.00 per person fee for this. I have to admit that
during my more impatient moments in the past 15 to 18 months
that I had my doubts that this would all come together as
it is. When I look back over the last two years, I realize
exactly how much ground we have covered.

"Ellen Reid is a creative genius!! She masterfully
assembles your project team and tailors it to fulfill the
needs of your individual project and budget. Then Ellen creatively

"I highly recommend Ellen Reid¹s services to
anyone who wants to create a first-class product and at the

“Ellen
did a wonderful job of guiding me through the parts of
the publishing process that were new to me. She also connected
me with some of the best people in the field to handle
my web marketing, special sales, radio bookings, and the
like. Last but not least, she kept me company on my evolution
from author to publisher, a journey that's very tough to
do alone.”

"Anyone self-publishing a book needs a book Shepherd. Ellen Reid is
the best. Even after you have taken the self-publishing seminars
and read the self-publishing how-to
books hire a book shepherd to help you avoid the potholes
and smooth the highway. Everyone needs professional help.
Get it early! Most self-published books look and read like
self-published books. Ellen Reid will make your book look
professional so that distributors, wholesalers and book stores
will want to carry it."

Ellen
Reid worked with me for one solid year to take my book
from manuscript to a published book. She is an outstanding
book shepherd. For the person who does not have a big name
or media following, no one can imagine what it takes to get
a book from manuscript to the public. Even after taking an
excellent publishing workshop with a foremost expert, I had
no idea of what was in store for me. Ellen
coached me through the entire process, which included many
editings, developing a book cover, typesetting, and printing
of the book. Ellen was extremely resourceful in each area
of the book development.
Ellen also
worked with me in developing a Web site, developing a logo
for my company, developing letterhead, brochures, postcards,
flyers, and other marketing material. It has been an extremely
enjoyable process working with Ellen Reid and Smarketing in
the completion of my book, the development of my new company,
and the promotion of both.

"Little did I know what was in
store for me when I attended Dan Poynter's seminar last January
and had the privilege of meeting you. I knew I needed help
in marketing my book, but I could never have anticipated the
exciting journey you would lead me on: a new cover, a new
book interior, a web site all my own and a glimpse into the
world of marketing through your eyes.
"I'm so grateful for your expertise, the highly competent
people you have chosen as your colleagues, and your vision
for each special client you have.
"A million thanks for all that has happened and for
what is yet to come."
Louise
Gaylord, author of "Anacacho."
